On Saturday November 23, 2019, MCPHS’s acapella club, Inherent Voice, hosted their first annual Fall Concert. It is typical for this group to host a concert every Spring, but this year, they were able to host another one in the Fall and what a great show it was! The concert started off with a group performance of a Jersey Boys Medley. It was a great way to start the night. Following the group number was a trio of Tiffany Liu, Kirsten Teotico, and Missy Townsend performing “Candy Store” from the musical Heathers. After this performance was a lovely trio consisting of Jeannie Zhao, Jen Tong, and Natalie Motzel, where they performed “No One is Alone” from the musical Into the Woods. After this was a brief intermission, where guests and performers could socialize and eat some good food. After the intermission, Jemma Han performed the song “Location Unknown” by the band HONNE. After Jemma’s beautiful performance, Tiffany Liu and Missy Townsend performed “Bring on the Men” from Jekyll and Hyde. After this duet, the whole group performed the Pentatonix version of the song “Royals”. Following the formal concert, the stage was opened up to the audience members for some karaoke. Everyone did such a great job and everyone in attendance had a very nice time! Good job to those who performed! MCPHS is lucky to have such talented students!
